Our Extensive Normative Database

“Compared to what?” is a reasonable question to ask in any assessment process. When an individual is assessed he or she wants to know their relative standing on the characteristics being measured, relative to some meaningful comparison group.

MRG has some of the largest global normative databases available — a vast repository of data describing the behaviors and motivations of hundreds of thousands of individuals, including executives, managers, salespeople, and others in more than 5,000 organizations worldwide.

These global databases allow us to craft a wide range of normative groups for scoring assessments. As a result, individuals can receive feedback relative to other professionals in their geographic or cultural region. This expansive database also provides opportunities for specialized research, benchmarking, and comparative studies in a variety of areas, such as industry studies, best practices, gender issues, cultural comparisons and other demographic topics.
